Terms & Conditions
At Birmingham Passenger Transport, we value transparency. We want to ensure you have a smooth experience without hidden surprises. Below are our terms for minibus and coach hire. Please note that we may update these terms at any time without prior notice.
1. Bookings and Quotes
Our terms apply to both verbal and written bookings. All quotes are valid for 14 days. However, bookings depend on driver availability at the time of your acceptance. Your quote covers the vehicle and driver only. By booking with us, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Passenger Conduct
Our drivers prioritize safety. Therefore, they may refuse entry to anyone who poses a risk to others. If a passenger damages the vehicle interior, the hirer is responsible for all repair or cleaning costs.
3. Travel and Delays
We always aim for punctuality. However, we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control. These include:
Heavy traffic or roadworks.
Accidents or vehicle breakdowns.
Severe weather and strikes.
4. Payments and Pricing
We accept cash, bank transfers, and major cards. While we allow cash on pick-up, you must pay a deposit in advance.
Please note:
Full Payment: All bookings must be paid in full before the journey.
Price Adjustments: If fuel costs rise or 14 days pass after your quote, we may adjust the price.
Night Deposits: A refundable £150 deposit is required for nighttime bookings to cover potential damage or sickness.
5. Cancellation Policy
You must submit all cancellations in writing. We process refunds within 28 days based on the following scale:
21+ days notice: 50% refund.
14+ days notice: 25% refund.
Less than 7 days notice: No refund.
6. Onboard Rules
For your safety and comfort, we enforce the following rules:
Smoking: Strictly prohibited by law.
Drugs: Illegal substances and “legal highs” are banned.
Alcohol: Only allowed with prior approval from the driver.
Pets: No animals are permitted, except for registered guide dogs.
7. Subcontracting and Changes
If we cannot provide a specific vehicle, we may use a trusted partner (subcontractor). We will always aim to provide a vehicle of similar size and quality. In rare emergencies, we may cancel the contract and offer a full refund.
8. Complaints and Liability
If you have concerns, please email us at info@birminghampassengertransport.co.uk within 7 days of your trip.
Regarding liability, Birmingham Passenger Transport is not responsible for injury, illness, or death unless it is caused by direct driver negligence. We also hold lost property at our office; however, returning items may incur a small fee.
